Wining and dining are part of the winter solstice celebration which is observed in temperate countries. Celebrants will spend time with their families and friends, just having fun; singing and dancing and feasting.

 There might not be a winter in this part of the world but the celebration is very much part of the scene. In Super 7 Restaurant, at Jalan Bundusan, Penampang, it is a celebration to remember through the offerings of food they have for the occasion.

Although Winter Solstice falls on Dec 22, celebrants can already enjoy the food they have to offer.

For the occasion, Head Chef  Chef Wong Chee Vui prepared table set menu promotion for the entire month of December with the 9-course Winter Solstice table set menu

The 9-course set menu includes braised fish maw and fish lip soup, sour plum duck, braised red snapper with yellow bean paste , Hong Kong style stewed pork belly and steam clay pot corn-fed chicken with cordyceps.

Diners will also get to taste the crystal jade bean curd with shimeji and enoki mushroom, stir fried mixed vegetables , golden fried rice with crabmeat and anchovies and pumpkin with glutinous rice ball (tong yuan).

Super 7 Restaurant is non-halal all -day dining Chinese restaurant that opens daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 9am till 11:30pm. The restaurant can accommodate up to 200 seats and the VIP/private room can accommodate at least 3 tables for 30 seats.Those who wish to hold a private function there can utilise the room, and for a larger crowd the whole restaurant.
