Health and wellness with Oligoscan
Dr Sarah-Jane Khong |
Chronic health problems can be debilitating.
Most of the time we are reduced to popping pills recommended to us by our
doctors. Of course this is better that self-diagnosis by going through the various
information on symptoms available online.
But, there is another way to get
better; to balance what is needed to ensure wellness.
As we all know, the body is made up
of oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus with a little
potassium, sulfur, sodium, chlorine, and magnesium. But all these are necessary
to life. More of some and less of the others can be detrimental to one’s
health.
To find out if one has a good
balance of all these items, go for the OligoScan. This machine can scan up to
31 Minerals, 20 Heavy Metals, Acidosis and Gut Health.
The findings can allow the caregiver
or doctors to advice patients of nutrition they need to take and make lifestyle
changes. This allows patients regain
homeostatic balance of the minerals and eliminate the toxic metals.
The doctors may allow concoct
supplements to provide patients with the balanced minerals. After analysing the
results, and based on the deficiencies and risk prole, they compound these
minerals into a customised vitamin and supplement capsule to meet patients
individual needs.
There is an expert on OligoScan in
Kota Kinabalu, Sabah; Dr. Sarah -Jane Khong, who visits once every month to
meet with patients in the State Capital.
She shared that there is not too
much awareness about this technique here although the response in Peninsula
Malaysia is encouraging.
Dr. Sarah is actually an anti aging
and integrative medicine consultant said
the procedure is quite simple and absolutely painless. She just scan
four points on one’s palm, and after a few minutes the findings flash out in
the computer.
The findings are then read by her
and then she will make an assessment. She will then advise the patient on the
reading and recommend supplements to boost the system.
