Borneo Rainforest Lodge Wins Eco-Luxury Award at The BrandLaureate 2026

KOTA KINABALU: Borneo Rainforest Lodge (BRL) has been honoured with the Eco-Luxury Hospitality Award at The BrandLaureate Lifestyle BESTBRANDS Awards 2026, held on 30 July at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

This achievement marked a historic milestone for BRL as the first hospitality brand from Borneo to receive the award, recognising its commitment to delivering eco-luxury experiences whilst championing sustainable tourism and environmental conservation.

Organised by The World Brands Foundation, the awards celebrate outstanding brands and organisations for excellence in branding, innovation, leadership, and industry contributions.

The award was accepted by Chief Executive Officer Freddie Coleman, alongside Chief Operating Officer Sail Jamaludin and Chief Finance Officer Esner Chong.

Also present were Human Resources Manager Henry Balenting and Assistant Marketing Manager Sylviana Chong.
